Part of the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota's mission is to educate the community about immigration law and policy so that we can all be effective advocates for policies that are fair, humane, and practical.

Our 'Resources' page has links to dozens of sites with in-depth information about immigration policy, procedure, current events, and statistics.

Of particular interest to those living in Minnesota is the Advocates for Human Rights website, listed on our Resources page. This is a great place to find up-to-date information about policy and events in Minnesota.

Legislative Action Alerts

As part of our Advocacy and Defense program we send action alerts when immigration-related bills are up for discussion or vote on a state and federal level. This is a great way to keep up-to-date on local and national immigration-related legislation.

An action alert is an email notification regarding an upcoming vote on immigration legislation with information about the legislation and information on how to contact your representatives to help advocate for fair, compassionate, and just immigration policy. Action alerts are only sent out on an as needed basis, and average roughly one per month.
