Immigration 101

Immigration 101 is valuable presentation full of useful and relevant knowledge for all students regarding the history, process, policies and facts of immigration in the United States.

Immigration 101 helps students, teachers or professionals understand the issues surrounding immigration.  This presentation covers immigration status, how to gain citizenship, statistics, myths, and facts about immigration in Minnesota and the United States. The Immigration 101 curriculum is appropriate for middle and high school Social Studies, ELL and world language classes.  Additionally this presentation can be helpful for educators, administrators, professionals or others that work with or have an interest in the immigrant communities of Minnesota.
