Eligibility for Services ILCM provides free brief legal advice and full legal representation
to immigrants and refugees who qualify for services based on the following: Place of residence: ILCM provides services statewide for
victims of domestic abuse, crime victims, and individuals whose immigration case
is impacted by HIV/AIDS. All other clients must reside in one of the 33 counties
in Southern Minnesota listed below. Type of immigration case: ILCM can only assist in immigration-related
cases. If you are an immigrant who needs help with another area of law, such as
housing, family law, public benefits, or employment, our office will not be able
to assist you. Also, we cannot assist with nonimmigrant visas such as student
or business visas. If you meet the first three criteria you will need to call
during our weekly phone intake on Thursdays from 6:00pm-7:30pm and Fridays 9:00am-10:30am.
We are unable to accept walk-in appointments. Calling during our weekly phone
intake is the only way that new clients will be able to receive legal advice from
our office. ILCM provides services statewide for victims of domestic abuse and crime victims, as well as immigrants whose case is impacted by HIV/AIDS. All other clients must reside in one of the following counties:
